MY THOUGHTS

First of all, Obama and Romney are not Christians.  I know Obama is not by his works.  His hostility toward born again believers is evident.  He is not as hostile to the organized church as born again believers, but close. I would not be as hostile to the organized church because it does some of what I want, if I was Obama.  Romney is not a Christian because Mormonism is not Christian.  One of the tenants of Mormonism is that Jesus Christ and God are not one, but separate gods.  To be fair, what world leader stands out as a Christian?  The closest could be Harper of Canada.  The other American candidates I don't know.  In any case, we as believers need to be careful to classify who is or not a believer, and with that said, sometimes we must call them out.  Today, we are calling them out.

Second, Israel is God's people.  Replacement theology is not of God, and how can you believe God replacing His people because of disobedience.  If God did this, then God would replace me a long time ago, and with what?  Aren't we all disobedient, and replacement theology churches are the most disobedient of all denominations, which include mainline Protestant denominations and Catholicism.  Replacement Theology states God has replaced all of the blessings given to Israel with the Church.  We are told to pray for God's people, Israel, and as disobedient as they are we were grafted in the same vine as the Jews, and in time the entire vine will serve God.  The Scripture below is so wonderful because it describes the hope of all those who believe in Christ Jesus.  Please read all of Romans 11 in your time.  Great study on how God sees Israel today, and believers.  Remember, the world is divided in three parts, unbelieving Jew, unbelieving Gentile, and a true Church made up of believing Jews and Gentiles. 

Third, we who are believers are called out to make a difference.  It is easy to sit behind a computer and type a commentary or read one, but all of us, including myself, need to make our voices known to our families, friends, co-workers, and the world around us.  The more we know about our Lord, the more responsibility we have to share that Word.  The day of reckoning is here.  Jesus is coming, and the pieces are and have already taken their places to fulfill the Scriptures.  You see, fulfilling the Scriptures is the central part of all of this for it proves that God is God.  To know which Scriptures are and will be fulfilled we must read our Bible, pray, and worship with other true born again believers to lift praises to God. 

Yes, we need to call people out, especially ourselves.  Judgment starts at the house of God which is you and me.  We are a tent (house) that houses the Holy Spirit.  Don't look at a building with four walls and a steeple, but look in the mirror.  Our judgment will not be determined about what Obama does, but how we react to Obama.  Our judgment will not be determined on Iran, Russia, the EU, Antichrist, Replacement Theology, but how we react and warn people of the dangers of those very things.  Yes, judgment starts with me.  Fix me Jesus so that I may be the person you have called for this very hour.  Yes, make me the servant like my forefathers of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for I may not be the physical seed of Abraham, but praise God I am the spiritual seed. Thank you Jesus for may I be counted worthy of the saints of God in due time.

The Churches Against Israel [Excerpts]

UK researchers [recently] announced that 17 skeletons [of] Jews were found at the bottom of a medieval well in Norwich, England. The Jews were murdered in a pogrom or had been forced to commit suicide rather than submit to demands for conversion to Christianity.

The bodies date back to the 12th or 13th Centuries, at a time when Jewish people faced killings, banishment and persecution throughout all Europe. Those 17 Jews were killed because of "replacement theology," [meaning] the Jews have forfeited God's promises to them which have been transferred to the Church.

Some 10 centuries later, global Christian forums are reviving this theological demonology against the heirs of those 17 Jews: the Jews of the State of Israel. The World Council of Churches, an ecumenical Christian body based in Genève and boasting 590 million worshipers, just ended a four-day conference in the Greek city of Volos. Not a single word of criticism was uttered there against the Islamists who are persecuting Arabs who believe Jesus.

Lutherans arrived to Volos from the United States, Catholics and Protestants from Bethlehem and Nazareth, Orthodox Christians from Greece and Russia, lecturers from Beirut and Copts from Egypt. The conference declared the Jewish State "a sin" and "occupying power," accused Israelis of "dehumanizing" the Palestinians, theologically dismantled the "choseness" of the Jewish people and called for "resistance" as a Christian duty.

MY THOUGHTS

March 5^th is coming up pretty quickly, and it will be interesting to see how the AIPAC festivities and the news out of the Netanyahu/Obama meeting transpire.  Iran will be the topic, and from what I have read the Obama Administration has thrown Israel under the bus once again by its tepid response to Syria and the latest Iranian situation.  The world's psyche is turning against Judeo-Christian beliefs in unbelievable ways.  From the West's silent response to the Iranian Pastor's death sentence in Iran, to the silence in the past few months as scores of Christians been persecuted/killed from Nigeria to Egypt and beyond.  You put those events to the Obama Administration's lack of concern to religious beliefs about contraception and abortion through Obama Care and the groveling toward the Koran you have a corrupt world system.  A system God said would usher in the Antichrist and False Prophet.  We are and always will head in the direction of the Second Coming of Christ.  Today was closer than yesterday.

I do not see anything significant coming out of the Middle East until after March 5^th, and then depending on the Israeli/American meeting we may see some stressful times around Israel.  Also, this June the G20 will be meeting in Mexico City to discuss the world's response to the European crisis.  It is as if the EU put up just enough money to get them through the summer so they can beg for more money from the IMF.  The EU is the linchpin to the whole economic system, and when the EU's economic system collapses, then it may be time for the mark of the beast. 

It is prophesied the organized church that puts its trust in government for a lot of its services will be trampled over by that same government.  We are at a point where the world elites are turning against the organized church.  The EU, US, and the West are at a point where persecution of true believers is soon, yet already here.  The organized churched will also be put aside so the ruling elites may have their day.  Remember when Obama left out Creator when he talked about rights that are reserved to Americans.  He truly believes rights are not given by a Creator, but by government, and more importantly by him.  Americans are increasingly living in a country where freedom is determined by man, not by God.  The idea where government decides your destiny will come in the future mark of the beast.

We need to keep in prayer those men and women of God who stand up for righteousness sake.  They are on the news and on programs lifting up the Word of God.  In Matthew 24 Jesus spoke of times of deception so great that very few will know the truth.  Also, Jesus spoke in that same chapter about His followers being taken to those in authorities to speak God's Word.  The television can be one of those venues.  As the world continues to turn against Biblical Christianity, please don't forget that a true Christian is one who has personally admitted their sin, and asked Jesus to come into their life to save them from their eternal judgment.

In one of the boldest, most audacious moves ever made by a President of the United States, President Barack Obama is on the brink of successfully rendering moot the very first clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" (emphasis added). If he forces the Catholic Church to comply with the Health and Human Services ruling to provide its employees with insurance that covers activities the Church has long held sinful ? abortion via the morning after pill, sterilization and contraceptives ? then the precedent is clear: when religious beliefs conflict with government decrees, religion must yield.

The story line that President Obama miscalculated in picking this fight with the Catholic Church vastly underestimates the man's political skill and ambition. His initial approval of the ruling requiring the Church pay for abortion drugs and sterilization was but the first step in a calculated strategy to further his goal of transforming America.

MY THOUGHTS

There are uncorraborated reports the Western nations of Europe and the US are planning to use military interventin in Syria.  According to the Bible, Damascus is destroyed in the last days.  Our prayers are needed for the Syrians.  The relationship between the United States and Israel is very low.  I suspect the meeting between Obama and Netanyahu on March 5th will be rocky at best.  The Middle East is on fire, and Israel has few if any friends.  Just as the good Lord said, Israel shall be all alone in this world, but at the end He will stand with His people. 

The Greek deal is starting to settle in, and it is not good.  The deal only will kick the can down the road.  I believe the world is preparing for a Greek default.  I am not satisfied it will be orderly.  The Middle East can change the dynamics of the world's economy overnight.  Remember, Israel and born again Christians will be blamed for the world's problems.  Seems war is near as gas mask distribution in Israel started in December 2011.  You don't do that unless likelihood of war is on the horizon.

Born again, you will hear that term in the Western media a lot in the future.  A born again Christian is one who has personally asked Jesus in their life.  It is sadly acceptable in Western culture to be Christian in name, and have not asked Jesus personally in one's life.  This is exactly what Jesus warned in Matthew 25 as He separated the sheep from the goats.  The born again sheep were surprised Jesus was pleased with them, while the goats were surprised their good works did not get them into heaven.  Salvation is everything to do with a personal relationship with Jesus, which is exhibited by the sheep.  Works get you knowhere without the personal relationship first.  Works without faith is hellish dead.

WASH--Feb 20--KIN--Turkey is showing its radical Islamic roots by saying that it would prevent NATO from sharing important military information with Israel. Iran announced it has stopped oil sales to Britain and France. Saudi Arabia said publicly that it would do its best to make up the difference. Reports, however, to the Joint Organizations Data Initiative, the official source for oil production, indicate that Saudi Arabia actually cut oil production in December. Russia is still arming Syria. And Iran's warships have docked in Syria. By all indicators, the stage is set for an Islamic inspired war, fueled by Russia, targeted at Israel, and catalyzed by White House support of Islamic democracy in the Middle East. Are we on the prophetic brink?

All signs point to a type and shadow of what is referred to by many Biblical prophets as "The Day of YHVH (the LORD)." Whether this day is a literal day or an extended day, scholars are not sure. But most agree that this is the time when Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah) returns to reclaim the world and judge the enemies of YHVH (God). The nations in current headlines are consistently mentioned--Turkey (Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Gomar, Togarmah), Iran (Persia), Iraq, parts of Eastern Turkey (Assyria), Libya (Libya and Northern Africa), Syria, and others. Ezekiel 38:16 says, "And Thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days..."

Another prophecy is directly aimed at Damascus, Syria. Isaiah 17:1 says, "Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap." Some believe, such as Bible Scholar Joel Richardson, that Mecca/Saudi Arabia, is the Great Mystery Babylon characterized in Revelation 17--as it is in a wilderness (the desert), is drunk on the blood of the saints (Islam kills Christians worldwide), the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her and have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication (every current leader of a major nation has bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, and the world is addicted to her oil). In the context of current events, this interpretation appears likely.

Is the world, therefore, on the prophetic brink? It is very close, however, there are many events that must happen before the Messiah returns on that fateful day. The rise of the antichrist, a peace treaty with Israel, wars and rumors of wars, insurmountable inflation, pestilences and famines. Things are going to get much worse. Yeshua (Jesus) said in Matthew 24:33, "...when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." There will be death, malaise and destruction as people are caught in the crossfire of these events prior to the return of the Messiah. MY THOUGHTS

I want to thank everyone who has sent me emails about the situation in Israel.  My take is Israeli people are going about their normal lives, gas masks have and are currently being distributed, and war is in the air.  However, many people seemed oblivious to the fact that war may be imminent.  Some of course are preparing.  In 1 Thessalonians, the people cry for peace and safety, and when they do sudden destruction will come upon the Israelis.  I do not want destruction on anyone, and I do not want people to die, but the Word is the Word, and as hard as it can be, we must trust all of it.  What we can control is our faith in Jesus Christ.

Franklin Graham and Dr. Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church of Dallas made news on MSNBC.  Both described rightly that a person can only become a Christian if he/she asks Jesus personally in their life.  Many disagree and think if anyone says they are a Christian they are, but they are not.  You must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Deception is the first warning of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24, and many may say they are Christ, and I want to say many will say they are Christians, but only those who place their life personally with Jesus are saved.  Also, Mormonism is not a Christian religion, and their other Mormon testament attests to that among other beliefs.

What we are seeing is distaste for Biblical Christianity.  We will continue to see politics and religion meshing together, and we, as Christians, must be careful not to get caught up in the politics or the religion, but stay to the true story.  That story tells of a loving God who sent His Only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, and He raised His Son from the dead so each of us who place our life in Jesus may be raised from the dead on the last day.  The world's hatred of Jews and Christians is increasing all over the world.

Lastly, it looks like war is inevitable in the Middle East.  After March 5^th, we will see more what is transpiring as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and US President Obama will discuss Iran.  Look for Obama to give a very pro-Israel speech at the powerful Israeli AIPAC Conference, but behind closed doors his message will be greatly different.  The Bible states we must judge people by their actions, not their words, and so many of our leaders' actions show they are not born again believers in Jesus Christ.

Evangelist Franklin Graham called President Barack Obama's religious views into question on Tuesday, stating that he does not know for sure if Obama is a Christian.

Graham, who is the son of Billy Graham and the CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that Obama "has said he's a Christian, so I just have to assume that he is."

"All I know is I'm a sinner, and God has forgiven me of my sins... you have to ask every person," he said about whether he could say for sure that Obama is indeed of the Christian faith.

No news articles or Scripture today, just thoughts.

Thought #1?Greece. 

The EU has given Greece enough money so that an orderly default can happen.  No salvation here for Greece, but more grief.  The Greeks are looking down a barrel of a gun that only leads to national suicide.  What is interesting is how the Beast has taken over Greece, and the birthplace of democracy is now a dictatorship from afar.  The Bible talks about three horns being plucked.  I don't know if Greece is one of those horns right now, but if it is, then the Antichrist is working behind the scenes somewhere.  The inflated stock market is working off a drug induced central banking spending high.  When the money dries up or a Middle East war transpires, then hyperinflation and economic collapse will ensue.

Thought #2?Israel.

President Obama invited Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to Washington DC on March 5^th, which is earlier than the dates first reported.  Obama has pressured Netanyahu to not attack Iran.  Netanyahu has so far not taken the advice.  The pressure will be tremendous, but what is not being reported is the lack of class Obama has toward Israel.  Announcing in public Israel should not attack Iran, and not putting the onus on Iran leaves Israel all alone.  Iran has publicly stated if it is threatened it feels confident they can preemptively attack Israel.  Ezekiel 38/39 states Iran and its surrogates, Russia, Turkey, and others will attack Israel so if the prophecy is fulfilled that will be what transpires.  We cannot forget Psalm 83 and other Scriptures in the light of world events.  A Middle East war will make the Greece drama look like a walk in the park for the markets.  A disorder Greek default may come during the war.

Thought #3?US.

I would not be surprised at all if Obama is reelected as President.  Americans are more concerned with what the world system gives them than what God gives them.  At a time when moral absolutes are not popular, and immorality is celebrated, then deception will run amok.  We are living in dangerous times and the few who stand up for what is right need to be prayed over.

MY THOUGHTS

The news out of Europe is that a deal is being agreed upon so that Greece will not default.  That deal is going to be announced on Monday.  We shall see.  I will write more about a Greece deal, if it comes to pass later this week.  Let's look at the world we live in according to February 19^th, 2012, because it changes by the day and sometimes by the hour.

The economic situation is bleak as the central banks print money as fast as anytime in human history.  Also, at no other time in history has the world been so much together as one entity.  Man can come together as a world to fight its Creator in our days, but the Creator is using some very creative ways to send out His message.  Through the likes of Tim Tebow, Jeremy Lin, and the funeral of Whitney Houston, there has been some Light coming through.  Grant it, especially Ms. Houston, a woman with many problems, it is hard to see the Light.  However, some of the statements at the funeral were encouraging, and of course there were many who stood behind the pulpit that were not God's messengers, but the message of Christ did resonate off and on during the service, so I grant that.  In any case, it is interesting that God is using avenues that seemed foreign to the traditional church member, and it shows that God's pulpit is everywhere, and we are a part of it.

As the world goes into the abyss with the Iranian war looming, economic meltdown with Europe weeks away, maybe sooner, and the moral collapse of society, we are seeing the signs of the times everywhere like no other time in human history.  The lulls are shorter, the birth pains are stronger, and the sense of the Lord's coming is more evident every day.  Stay strong, and take courage He has conquered the world and our sins through Jesus Christ.  He created time for His Glory, and in time we shall know how all things play out.

There are two possible outcomes of the barrage of words being launched against Iran: a war that starts inadvertently (what, one wonders, would be the reaction today if a British naval patrol in the Gulf were captured by the Iranians, as happened four years ago?); or a war that starts after an attack by Israel. A negotiated climbdown by both sides is the least likely option, although the venue for one still exists. The next round of talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN security council plus Germany will be held in Istanbul. Failing any breakthrough there, western policy is caught in a cleft stick.

The British foreign secretary, William Hague, warned on successive days that the Iranian nuclear programme could trigger a Middle East cold war and that Israeli military action to forestall it would be unwise. And yet, if you do not believe that sanctions will deter Tehran from its alleged pursuit of nuclear weapons (and this newspaper talked to senior US officials who do not), one judgment inexorably leads to the other. So competing voices in the US administration are both upping the ante and scurrying every month to Jerusalem to restrain Ehud Barak and Binyamin Netanyahu from doing what they have long promised to do. The latest visitor to Israel is Tom Donilon, Barack Obama's national security adviser. Long before coming to power, Netanyahu said that Israel's date with destiny lay with Iran, not the Palestinians. MY THOUGHTS

The events of the past few weeks have been breathtaking.  I want to focus on the EU's role in the world.  Growing up no one really cared about Europe in Kentucky (sorry Europe).  Most parts of the United States did not follow events because the United States was the superpower, minus the Soviet Union which was in decline in my childhood.  As the Bible states, the unfathomable happened which was the power of the EU's economic engine is mightier than any place on earth.  It seems Greece is heading toward a default and it could be a hard landing.  If the landing is harder than Europe hopes the whole world may go down with Europe, and things will change.

No other time in history could one small country in Europe dictate so much in the world, and it is because the Euro and the EU itself produces and consumes so much of the world's economy.  As God states in His Word, the EU will rise to power to be the last superpower on earth.  It may not be what we think of a military might, but with the United States backing, the EU has become the economic superpower it always wanted to be since the days of Rome.  Europe's strengths and weaknesses move the markets within minutes, and its leader vacuum is causing extreme headaches for world powers.  It is going to take a leader coming up from the EU to take control of the mess when it does get out of hand. 

Greece may be the catalyst.  There is a rumor that a Greek default is March 23^rd because two main Wall Street bankers have been tipped off that is the date.  The dirty little secret is the bailout money is not for Greece, but Spain, Italy, and France to save off contagion when Greece does default.  The EU also wants to bypass Greek elections and install and pro-EU government.  If Greece has a hard default then the world's economies are going to suffer and a new economic system may have to be in place.  You put that with a possible Iranian strike on Israel (Ezekiel 38/39), and Passover Holy Days on April 6^th-11^th, we may have major prophetic fulfillment in the near future. 

Of course all of this is speculation on my part, but as a watcher we all must have our eyes on Greece, Iran and its allies, and Israel's response to the continuing tit for tat.  This morning Israeli authorities revealed that Defense Minister Barak had an attempted assassination the other day.  That in itself raises the stakes.  There are reports gas masks are beginning to be distributed in Israel which gives evidence war is on the horizon.  Anyone from Israel or have knowledge of this please let me know through email.  Time will tell.

A written document giving firm dates and detailed actions for a planned Greek default has been in the possession of two top Wall Street bank currency trading bosses since the second week in January. The Slog has separate but corroborative sources affirming the existence of the document, and a conviction among senior bank staff that - at least at the time - the plan represented "a timetable, not a contingency". The plan gives a firm date of March 23rd for default to be announced after the close of business.

MY THOUGHTS

Isn't it nice for a sitting US President to have a truth team.  This team will hear people's concerns that the truth from the President is being distorted.  There are several things that concern me.  One, the President is now the author of truth, not God.  Second, American citizens will act as spies and report to the President.  Third, the intimidation aspect is great, and the President is using public education and other American institutions to be his fact check.  Fourth, the American President is assaulting religious institutions through Obama care, with the case in point the Catholic Church and contraceptives.  It is ironic the contraceptives must be free, but I still pay my copay for my medicine.  The American government is acting as an arm of the world elites with President Obama as its spokesperson. 

In prophecy, the False Prophet forces all world citizens to take the mark, not the Antichrist.  If one does not take the mark, then the government will punish them, which many will die.  The current system that is being placed is not the mark of the beast, but it is a system that will be used for the mark of the beast.  America, once a bastion of freedom, is increasingly becoming a hand of the world system that is stymieing Christian evangelism and thought.  Reports are showing Christians are and will be severely persecuted in Egypt, currently and will be driven out of Syria, and the West is driving Christian ethics from the public square.  In order for the world system to envelop the world, then America has to bring it to power under the direction of the European Antichrist.  The current US President is bringing the world big brother to every American town through Obama care, his other policies, and now through his truth team.  My truth team is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, so Mr. President; you are not the author of truth that I seek.

Israel has placed its embassies on high alert, and Iran has announced it is increasing its nuclear production.  God's people will be blamed for the world collapse.  As the Obama Truth Team will tell you, Obama is the all knowing one and he will do what is best for Israel.  Let me tell you that Obama is no god, and he will not do what is best, but he will do those things that will bring Israel to its knees.  However, the good news is when Israel is brought to its knees, for the Bible says God must protect her in the wilderness at the end of days, the Lord will intervene by sending Michael the Archangel as the great protector of His people.  We who are believers will stand by God and Israel, which in turn will cause great persecution for us.  Israel and Iran's moment is now, which means God's moment with us is now.

The EU is pushing the Greeks to insolvency.  Greece is a part of the problem, but it is interesting how the EU elites are pushing for a Greek exit and default.  The EU is the bully, Obama is the bully in America and what do the two have in common, a lack of Judeo-Christian ethic.  The EU's behavior is troubling because they are destroying anyone who is in their way of truth.  Greece will default and really already has.  In the weeks ahead, maybe days, we all will feel the effects.  I remember my Lord telling me, "You shall know them by their works."  EU, Mr. President, your works don't measure up.

An Israeli Cabinet minister says his country will "settle the score" with the perpetrators of a bombing attempt in Bangkok.

A wounded Iranian fleeing an unintended explosion at a house threw a grenade at Bangkok police that instead blew off one of his legs in a series of blasts Tuesday. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said the explosion, which wounded four civilians, was an "attempted terrorist attack" by Iran.

Israel has also blamed Iran for a pair of attacks on Israeli diplomatic targets in India and Georgia on Monday. Tehran has denied responsibility for those attacks.

Speaking on Israel Radio, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch did not mention Iran explicitly, but strongly implied Israel would seek revenge.

"We know who carried out the terror attacks, we know who sent them, and Israel will settle the score with them," he said.

MY THOUGHTS

Ninety percent is what Charles Krauthammer gives Israel attacking Iran in the very near future.  I think he may be right.  The bombings of Israeli diplomats in Georgia and India shows how quickly events can change.  FoxNews reported last night that terrorist states such as the past Iraq and modern Iran carried out the type of hit squads yesterday when they believed they were going to be invaded or attacked.  Ironically, Iraq did this just before the two Iraq wars.  There is all the evidence in the world which points to a Middle East war.

Therefore, the Bible as our guide and according to the Word we have several facts we know.  First, Damascus will be destroyed and an Iranian, Turkish, and hesitant Russian invasion of Israel will happen.  I say hesitant because God will have to hook Russia into the conflict, according to Ezekiel 38/39.  We must not forget Daniel 11:33-45 and Psalm 83 as we look at today's Middle East.  Also, Revelation chapter 6 states peace will be taken from the earth before economic calamity, which those two happen after Antichrist is revealed.  If the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) is not the seven year covenant then the events of Revelation 6 cannot happen for at least another 3 ½ years, but if it is then Javier Solana is the most likely candidate for Antichrist because he confirmed the Barcelona Treaty into the ENP for seven years starting in 2007. 

It is easy to say all events are happening now, but they aren't.  The Bible does lay out a chronological order of events.  Also, some events are hard to place in God's program, like Ezekiel 38/39.  It could be at the beginning of the 70^th week, in the middle, or at the end.  We will have to let time tell us.  Whatever the case, the dots are there, and some can be connected, but many are still left undone.  When they are connected it will be with a flood of God's vengeance on an unrepentant world.

Lastly, Japan pumped TEN TRILLION Yen into the markets to give them a little boost.  The Japanese GDP was a dissapointment last quarter.  The stock market is not moving in reality, but through Central Banks.  These very institutions will implement the mark of the beast in the near future along with government blessing.  The governments are using the central banks and vice versa in order to shore up the riches for elites.  This will result in hyperinflation which is predicted by God in Revelation 6.  We must look at all events in our world through the eyes of God.  That is why God states we cannot understand the Scriptures, but we must pray God can open our eyes to the truth before us.  Until next time.

MY THOUGHTS

There is a covert war between Iran and Israel.  Today, some Israeli diplomats were targeted in two foreign countries by Iran.  Only God is holding back the tide of violence that will sweep across the globe in the near future.  We see some of this violence as Greece battles against the bankers and technocrats in Europe.  As the Spiritual battle heats up you will see more deception, violence, and rumors of wars.  Stay strong, you were chosen for this time because you can endure the temptations, sins, and deception that is here and will be coming.

Don't you feel the wheels are coming off, but it just has not totally happened yet.  Maybe I am simplifying it too much, but there is much going on behind the scenes, and only God is holding everything back from falling apart.  In time, all things will come out as believers will be persecuted, great ecological events will transpire, economic collapse through hyperinflation, and wars will ravage the earth.  Already, the European Central Bank (ECB) is pumping money into the system which is increasing the inflation throughout the world.  Along with the American Fed, inflation is and will continue to grip the world as traditional currencies become obsolete. 

The EU is very confident they can handle Greece.  I don't think so.  I believe Greece is closer to economic calamity than many think.  I don't know if they will reach March 20^th.  If Greece goes under, then it will be very bad for the markets, but if it brings down Italy and/or Spain, then all bets are off.  It will be very ugly.  Everyone will be affected, and a new world system will have to be in place to save the rich rulers and bankers.  You couple this with Israel and Iran and we have the prophetic picture lying before us. The question is if the European Neighborhood Policy is not the seven year treaty, then another one must be laid, and where and when will that happen?  Time will tell.

Time will tell whether Europe is adequately prepared for what is ahead or whether the actions and statements from this past week merely reflect overconfidence, but I'd remind readers that no one was speaking or acting like this back in October when the market was lower.

To borrow a term from Nicholas Spiro of Spiro Sovereign Strategy in London, thanks to rising confidence Europe has built a "psychological firewall." We believe and European leaders themselves believe that there are sufficient preparations in place to prevent contagion. But please recognize that if confidence turns down, not only will markets be lower, but our own confidence in Europe's preparedness and our perceptions of the willingness and ability of European leaders to cope with the crisis will also deteriorate.

I hope it doesn't come to that, but based on news reports out of Greece, I suspect we may, even sooner than we thought.

MY THOUGHTS

Iran, Obama, and Greece are three issues that I want to address today.  First, there are reports that 15,000 Iranian elite soldiers are heading to Syria, and British and Qatari forces are too.  Some say all of the before mentioned are already there.  The head of Iranian special units is said to be in Damascus to help operate the war room.  If this is true, then Isaiah 17 where Damascus is destroyed is a real possibility.  Will a Syrian conflict which destroys Damascus be a hook that leads Russia into the Middle East?  Russia will not be one of the first countries coming to the Middle East for God will have to hook them into coming into the northern parts of Israel.  War preparations are heightened, and with any possibility of war there are many rumors.  There are rumors major news outlets are preparing for the eventuality of an Iranian conflict, and Israeli government officials are laying the groundwork to evacuate Israelis if need be.  We need to be in prayer for all those involved.  If a war room is being prepared then Israel is the target, not Syrian dissidents. 

Second, President Obama has backed up a Health and Human Services plan which will require Catholic charities and institutions to cover contraception.  The Catholic Church is fighting the decree.  The bigger issue here is the American government deciding ones belief system.  Whether you agree with the Catholic stand or not, this type of autocratic power is just the beginning.  In time, the world government will usher in the mark of the beast and religious institutions will be treated with the same if not worse disrespect.  Sadly, many Christians are asleep because they do not want to see the truth and speak on it.  Lukewarmness is destroying the witness of the Church, and only a few are willing to stand up to call it like it is.  Be hot for the Gospel for God will reward you in great measure.

Lastly, as of this hour the Greek negotiations are still continuing.  Whether an agreement is reached or not, the EU and the world is preparing for a Greek default.  This is more managing the default than keeping it from happening.  The Bible says the economic conditions will worsen through hyperinflation so as the Greek tragedy escalates look for central bankers to print more money to cover the very rich.  Just as the Bible states, don't touch the oil or wine.  There are many rich who are Christians, but there is a system where the powers of the rich will be protected while the rest of us will suffer.  Don't be discouraged for our hope awaits us in Christ Jesus, and yet that hope is already here.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz is quoting an anonymous high-level Syrian official as saying on Monday that Kassam Salimani, commander of Iran's elite Quds Force, has arrived in Syria to aid in the country's crackdown against its would-be revolutionaries.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-backed Al Arabiya news channel claimed Tuesday in a separate report that 15,000 troops from Iran's Revolutionary Guard recently arrived in Syria to aid Syrian President Bashar Assad in his battle against rebel forces in Homs and throughout the country.

Haaretz claims that Salimani, who is in charge of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's external operations as commander of the Quds Force, has "taken up a spot in the war room" alongside Bashar Assad and his closest family members, including his brother Maher, his brother-in-law Assaf Shaukat, and his cousin Rami Makhlouf.

MY THOUGHTS

There are a lot of rumors of a Greek deal, but I believe the negotiations missing reality.  If an agreement is agreed upon it must then pass many hurdles to become law.  The deadline was Sunday, and here we are Tuesday with no deal.  European leaders are preparing for the worse as a Greek default could spread to other countries.  I notice the European Central Bank (ECB) is buying Italian and Spanish bonds, but not Greek and Portuguese bonds.  The Europeans are willing to sacrifice two countries to save the big two.  A disorder default by Greece will put tremendous pressure on European and Western markets, and if you add a Middle East conflict then hyperinflation will happen. 

Former American officials are sounding the alarm of war.  People who say no war will happen have their heads in the sand.  War preparations are taking place as Russian officials are travelling the Middle East shoring up their allies.  Turkey is the wildcard, but we know from Ezekiel Turkey will side with Russia and Iran to attack Israel in the last days.  Reports are showing Iran may preempt an attack with Israel, which in turn fulfill Ezekiel 38/39.

Churches who preach replacement theology and deny the existence of Israel's place in God's kingdom do a disservice to its members.  Those who preach replacement theology run the risk of not preparing the flock for the coming day of judgment, which in turn will experience God's Wrath.  Replacement theology teaches the church has replaced Israel as God's chosen nation.  As we approach days of darkness, yet we are already there, we must prepare for the false teachings before us.  There are different views where events will take place, but something that is not from God is replacement theology.  It damages God's kingdom, and goes against the belief Israel is still God's chosen people.

The political leaders are due to discuss that agreement late on Tuesday.

"The Greek government is working on the final document that will be discussed at the political leaders' meeting later in the day," a government official, who declined to be named, told reporters.

Prime Minister Lucas Papademos negotiated through most of the night with Greece's European Union and IMF lenders, ending at 4 am (2 am London time) when the 24-hour strike was about to begin, closing ports and tourist sites and disrupting public transport.

Papademos, a technocrat parachuted in to lead the Greek government late last year, must persuade leaders of the three parties in his coalition government to accept the EU/IMF conditions for the 130-billion-euro ($170-billion) rescue.

With Greece's future in the euro zone in question, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told Athens on Monday to make up its mind fast if it would accept the deal ? and its conditions of reforms to make the economy more competitive that are certain to lead to big cuts in living standards.

MY THOUGHTS

Before we get to the Middle East lets cover Greece.  Greek negotiations at this hour are at a razor's edge.  I am watching with anticipation the outcome, and the date to remember is March 20^th where Greece may default.  However, if negotiations break down any time before March 20^th, then the negative market reaction can come much earlier.

American officials have pulled all staff out of Damascus as war preparations are accelerating across the Middle East.  According to Isaiah 17, Damascus will be destroyed in the last days, and Ezekiel's prophetic enemies of Israel does not include Syria.  Some postulate that Iran, Russia, Turkey, and their allies will attack after Damascus is destroyed.  Time will tell.

The world is on the verge of major prophetic fulfillment.  I wish I knew exactly when and where it will transpire, but it is close.  War is on the horizon.  There are rumors of great Middle East regional battles ahead.  The Bible speaks of rumors of wars and wars themselves.  Time will tell what direction this will turn.

MY THOUGHTS

After the UN Security Council resolution against Bashar Assad in Syria was vetoed by Russia and China, Russian officials are planning to land in Damascus to meet with the Syrian President.  There are reports Russia has supported Syrian military moves which will bring the region into war.  Iranian army movements have been tracked due to military practices.  In a bazaar twist the United States announced Israel will attack Iran by June.  Also, negotiators on Greek debt have until Sunday night to produce some sort of agreement or markets may be in trouble come Sunday night, Monday morning.

During the National Prayer Breakfast President Obama made references to Christ and his legislative agenda, which is unheard of in American politics.  We have a Middle East crisis on the way, an economic crisis that is just one moment from catastrophe, and an American President aligning Christ likeness to the world government.  The most amazing thing is that what I just mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg.

It is hard to figure what will happen in the days ahead.  I will suspect the Middle East will get more dangerous in the days ahead as the rift between Israel and the United States gets more evident.  The Greek negotiations on its bailout may not succeed, which in turn will take the world into an economic tailspin.  The division between the West and Israel and the militant tone the North (Russia) and East (Iran/China) have toward the Middle East shows me a major crisis is very near.  Christ has conquered this world and we do not live for the here and now but for what the Lord has in store for each and every one of us.  In the days ahead we may know even more when and how severe the next crisis will be.  Time will tell.

The two powers' refusal to back an Arab League plan for Syria came despite the vote coming within hours of the worst single act of violence in the 11-month uprising.

Days of tortuous negotiations led to a final act of brinkmanship as Russia said it could not support a resolution backing an Arab League plan for a swift transition of power and elections. It was said to have demanded a last-minute change dropping a call, already agreed by Syria in November, for tanks and artillery to be withdrawn from the streets.

That was rejected outright by Western governments after residents of Homs reported an extraordinary bombardment overnight by mortars and heavy artillery, shattering houses and sending the injured and dying flooding to hospitals and makeshift clinics. US Secretary of Defense leaked out that the United States will be exiting Afghanistan in mid 2013 through 2014.  God prophesied armies from the East numbering 200 million will go to Megiddo, Israel (Armageddon) for the final battle on earth.  I often believed American soldiers will have to be removed in large numbers in Iraq and Afghanistan for this to happen.  By the middle of 2013 this will seem to be the case. 

Events in this world always point to the Second Coming of Christ.  As a lover of God's Word, I am always blessed to know that as His child, I am a part of something very special.  The economic conditions are leading us to the mark of the beast, the geo-political events are leading us to the battles of Armageddon, and the moral relativism in our churches is leading to a lukewarmness that Christ despises.  All things that we experience in this world are not for vain repetition, but for a continued walk with the predestined plan of God. 

As we speak, deception is gripping our nation, our churches, and our families. Take heart, Christ has conquered the world, and don't be pushed around.  Stay strong, speak about your Lord, and take a stand.  There is no room for being lukewarm in God's Kingdom.  He would rather you make mistakes as a hot sizzling Christian than play it safe.  Until next time.
