MY THOUGHTS
That was nice. Another major summit, stock market surges, then it collapses as it has done for almost every other empty and annoying EU Summit. All of us in the Western world have been living off of debt for 40 years. The bubble is bursting, and what will come out of is a horror the Bible describes as an unimaginable period of persecution and death. I truly believe the end result of the collapse we are witnessing is the rise of the Antichrist. I do not have a time frame when all of it will happen but the warnings are there.
Spanish bond yields are now close to 7% again as everything the West has thrown at the Spanish problem has failed. It is as if the EU has decided Spain may not be saved so the world must save Italy. I believe that is why there is so much of a push for Italian Prime Minister Monti to push through reforms. When Spain sinks it will bring everything with it, and you couple that with Italy then there is absolutely no hope for the economic future. I believe we are already past the point of no return. If the problem could be solved, it would already be solved because politicians do not want an economic collapse which will cost their jobs.
A little unknown news tidbit passed without much notice. Evidently the United States sees some hope for peace in the Middle East as US Secretary of State Clinton is traveling to Israel. Evidently, newly inducted government minister Mofaz of the Kadima Party is making quiet headlines as he is pushing for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. I am going to look at this very carefully as the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) will be up for review soon as the 2014-2021 European Neighborhood Policy Initiative (ENPI) will start. Remember, a confirmation must happen in 2013 for the new ENP or named ENPI begins. Whenever or whatever the confirmed treaty will be which will fulfill Daniel 9:27. The world will have a European leader, which currently does not hold a head of state for he is the eleventh horn among the ten kings, to confirm the treaty.
Lastly and sadly, the United States is heading very quickly into a moral abyss that it will never get out. The immorality in America is evident in every facet of society. It is very difficult for anyone in today's world not to be affected by it. I love my Lord, but it is difficult to serve Him in these days, but He said He would never leave nor forsake us. Vice Premier Shaul Mofaz, in the midst of high-level talks in Washington, issued an upbeat forecast Thursday that Israeli-Palestinian peace talks would resume shortly and take place without preconditions.
"I believe that there is an opportunity to restart negotiations," Mofaz told Israel Radio from the US capital. "I have a firm basis for believing this will happen in the near future."
However, Mofaz's statement came in utter contrast to a declaration Sunday by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas that the peace process is "clinically dead." Abbas characteristically blamed this on Israel, telling a conference in Ramallah that "the ball is in the Israeli court."
Analysts say that Abbas's Ramallah rhetoric could merely be a smokescreen for the PA's own high-level Washington talks, taking place at the same time as Mofaz's visit between PLO senior negotiator Saeb Erekat and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
