MY THOUGHTS
US Secretary Clinton is on a trip to Egypt and Israel and the news is not good. There are uncorroborated reports that President Obama has quietly told Egypt he will support Egypt withdrawing the 1979 Sinai Peace Accords with Israel if Israel does not sign on a comprehensive Palestinian treaty. This more than likely will happen in a second term. If this news is true, then Egypt will fall right into place as a great enemy of Israel in the last days. I suspect a President Romney may not be much better. Time will tell, but I believe the Egypt situation is possibly the most dire of any of the situations.
Egypt holds the stability of the Middle East. Under President Mubarak Egypt kept the Islamists from taking a strong hold throughout the Middle East. Egypt has the prestige, the military, the economy, and the size to keep the Iranians and Syrians from doing much harm to Israel. Even though Mubarak was far from good, he did keep the peace in the Middle East. Egypt has turned not only to Islamists, but militaristic as well. In the end of days, Daniel 11:33-45 shows the state of the Middle East before the Antichrist performs the abomination of desolation. Even though we may not be at the point of the abomination of desolation and the revealing of the Antichrist, we have one of the major countries the Antichrist will take over turning very anti-Western. The Antichrist would not take over a Western friendly country. It would make more sense to take over Egypt as it turns very hostile towards the West.
As Egypt is turning anti-Israel more than it has in over 30 years, we have the most anti-Israeli President in the White House. President Obama gave a major speech in Cairo, Egypt, traveled to Turkey, and has bowed to the Saudi King. Not one time has he hinted at going to Israel. He does not even invite Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to the White House anymore. Have you noticed he talks to the liberal Shimon Peres at the White House instead. If there was anytime in history for all nations to turn against Israel it is now.
I don't know when the Antichrist will be revealed in terms of a time period. I do know Europe, the Middle East, Russia, China, and the United States are where many prophecy teachers of old would see them before Jesus comes back. Please, be involved in ministries. I am blessed to be apart of a Vacation Bible School at the church I pastor, a Baptist Children's camp, and as school starts be the leader of our Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It is not me, but Christ in me. He wants to do this and more in your life. Start a church, a back yard Bible Club, a small couples retreat, or whatever God lays upon your heart. If you are a believer, you are called to minister to a fallen world. Time is ticking, and it won't be long.

It will also be decided by a new constitution setting out Mursi's powers. The document has been caught up in months of wrangling and the military has given itself an effective veto over the final draft.
Clinton said after meeting Mursi on Saturday that her meeting with Tantawi would cover the army's return to a "purely national security role" as well as the issue of parliament. (Bro. Brian's Thoughts?"purely national security role" or "civilian government" is code words for the military to step out of the way to let the Islamists rule the country. A corrupt military is better than an Islamist government.)
The meeting was lower profile than her discussions with Mursi, in line with protocol for such visits - Tantawi is no longer Egypt's effective head of state. And the State Department was very cautious on what was discussed during the encounter.
The United States, which provides its long-standing ally with $1.3 billion in military aid per year, making it one of Egypt's biggest donors, has worked hard not to take sides in the latest political stand-off.
According to a U.S. official travelling with Clinton, she spoke of Egypt's political evolution, while Tantawi told her what Egypt needed most right now was help overcoming its economic problems.
