MY THOUGHTS
The United States is coordinating responses to a Syrian chemical attack with Turkey, Jordan, and Israel. In Ezekiel 38/39 Turkey sides with Iran and Russia against Israel. At the moment we have Turkey playing both sides. Iran is not amused at Turkey's overture to the Americans. However, remember when Israel is involved, Turkey will turn toward Iran and Russia, albeit possibly reluctantly.
For the moment, Damascus is being shelled again, and we are seeing the disintegration of Syria. In Isaiah 17 there seems to be a prophecy foretelling the destruction of Damascus. In time all prophecies will be fulfilled. When Damascus is destroyed it may be with chemical instead of nuclear weapons. Many people have left Damascus, and the remaining may face a horrific future. Pray for the people of Damascus to know Jesus before destruction comes.
We will know war with Iran is soon if certain important people start to leave Israel and other countries of the Middle East. We have not seen that yet. France is preparing to evacuate its citizens, and there are contingency plans being made for an Iranian attack by others. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Defense Minister Barak both have said publicly a decision on Iran is soon. Whether this is war of words or actual fact remains to be seen. Again, look at important people leaving certain countries of the Middle East, and certain special military teams arriving. Even though those things have trickled in and out, it must be a great influx of military specialists and the exodus of the important ones on the eve of an attack. The rich and powerful will sense it, believe me. Unless there is a surprise attack by Russia, Iran, and Turkey, the important people will not have time. Remember, Gog/Magog War is not an Israeli attack, but a Russian, Iranian, and Turkish attack on Israel, along with some other minor players.
Europe is holding together, but not for long. Something has to be done to solve the mess they are in, and it does not look good. The Antichrist will rise at a time of a great Middle East crisis and when Europe collapses. He will put Europe back together by subduing three Western European nations, and will walk into E. Jerusalem to put down sacrifices. If there is not a seven year security agreement yet, which I suspect, then we are at least a little more than 3 ½ years from something like happening. Also, I have not seen any sacrifices in E. Jerusalem either along with a Temple. Maybe the next Middle East conflict will propel a treaty agreement and all of the above, and Europe somehow sluggishly moves on for another few years. How that can happen is hard to believe, but God is God, and He is in control.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Turkey's foreign minister said Saturday that their countries are creating a formal structure to plan for worst-case scenarios in Syria, including a possible chemical weapons attack on regime opponents.
Clinton and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said their two nations would set up a working group to respond to the crisis in Syria as conditions there deteriorate. They said the group will coordinate military, intelligence and political responses to the potential fallout in the case of a chemical attack, which would result in medical emergencies and a likely rise in the number of refugees fleeing Syria.
"We have been closely coordinating over the course of this conflict, but now we need to get into the real details of such operational planning. It needs to be across both of our governments," Clinton said.
