MY THOUGHTS
I was reading a news article which made a good point. It seems the financial crisis of 2008 happened shortly after a calm market during the Beijing Olympics. It seems we may be repeating the same performance, but more seriously. We all know the world we have grown up in is imploding. As I tweeted, it is a strange world where so many people plead ignorance, and do not see the signs, and yet that is prophetic as well.
I want to focus on some theology today. It is my belief the rapture happens after the Great Tribulation, which happens in the last 3 ½ years of the 70th week, yet cut short. My line of thinking goes like this. The seven year security agreement (70th week) is signed, possibly by many individuals where one will be the Antichrist. Then, the world goes for a tough 3 ½ years, which is the first 3 ½ years. During this time a Temple could be built, and sacrifices will be instituted one way or another in E. Jerusalem. At the midpoint, the Antichrist will be revealed when he walks into E. Jerusalem to put down the sacrifice and performs the abomination of desolation. It is at this time the world falls apart and the Great Tribulation starts, which again encompasses the last 3 ½ years, yet cut short. The church will experience the Great Tribulation where persecution will be the highest it has ever been. God will cut the Great Tribulation short of the 3 ½ years, and the rapture will take place. After the rapture, the Day of the Lord will commence, and shortly after that the Lord will come back 2,520 days after the security agreement was signed. The seven seals are in the Great Tribulation, but the seven trumpets, thunders, and vials are in the Day of the Lord. There will be a 75 day interval before the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth. After Christ's reign, eternity will be ushered in.
With all of that said, in my mind, we may not have the seven year security agreement so we are still a few years from the greatest persecution. I do believe the Gog/Magog War could very well happen before the 70th week begins. It could set up everything for the end of days. I do follow what Solana does, and do not cancel out anything because my mind is so small compared to God. He does what He does, and it is not for me to understand, but to be open to His Will.
The events we are seeing today are leading up to more prophetic stories in the headlines. We live in prophecy every day. Israel's physical rebirth in 1948 was prophetic, and their wars they won were by the hand of God. The church's decline and the economic integration of the world all follow Scripture. Remember, you don't have to wait for prophecy to happen, YOU are prophecy. You are living in the most exciting times in history, and it is getting ready to be even more exciting. May God Bless each and every one of you all.
Bro. Brian
NOTE: Egypt fired Tantawi, not for his Western leanings, but because he is friendly to Israel. Everything has to do with Israel. Israel's near future is not good. Israel's capacity to deal with Iran is now much more difficult. The King of the South in Scripture is rising and ready to fulfill its duty in God's plan. You have just witnessed prophecy in action as this King is readying its move for the final days. Bro. Brian
SCRIPTURE
Ephesians 2:10
""For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."
2 Peter 3: 3-10
The Coming Day of the Lord
3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, " Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation." 5 For [a]when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
A New Heaven and Earth
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and [b]its works will be [c]burned up.
1 Thessalonians 5: 1-4
Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord [a]will come just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, " Peace and safety!" then [b] destruction [c]will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you [d] like a thief;
NOTE: You notice 1 Thess. 5:2 states that we will know when the Day of the Lord will come. Not the exact day, no one knows that, but we will be able to know the season or the environment when Christ comes for His church. The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night for unbelievers only. This is very, very important to understand. We are called to know the signs to prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus Chirst.

For many years, Israel's security establishment maintained regular ties with figures like Tantawi and Muwafi, with press reports suggesting their removal would force Israel to seek out new interlocutors.
"The change of security and military leadership in Egypt will require Israel to open channels of dialogue with the new figures, not all of whom are familiar faces," an analysis in Maariv newspaper said.
But for the most part, commentators said it was too early to assess the impact on Israel's relations with its southern neighbour.
"The harm inflicted on the Egyptian military -- the pro-Western and secular power in Egypt -- may in the long term weaken one of the anchors that ensured that the peace agreement with Israel was kept," wrote Alex Fishman in the rival Yediot Aharonot newspaper.
"But events in Egypt are so dynamic, quick and unpredictable, that it is difficult to say where Israel-Egypt relations will be in a number of months."
