MY THOUGHTS
I want to personally thank all those who responded to yesterday's commentary. As we travel this earth, we see the Glory of God come alive every day. It may be in a prophecy fulfilled, a child who speaks God's wisdom, or someone who shares His love to his enemies. All of us working together seeing God's plan being put forth in our lives is a blessing to all. With that said, let's get to the important news of the day.
Joel Rosenberg, who I admire, stated Israel seemingly is going to war within weeks or months at the longest. I am very interested in his opinion because knows the Middle East quite well as a former advisor to Netanyahu. If his assertion is correct, then I have an idea of what might happen. US Secretary Clinton was in Turkey as the allies agreed to give the rebels anti-tank and anti-air missiles. The delivery was made at a time the Syrians were in Tehran planning their next moves. I suspect the world is on a knife's edge as the war in Syria has entered a new and dangerous phase. The prevailing thought, in my mind, is Iran wants to punish the allies, and it would have already if it was not for Israel. Israel may use the Syrian situation to its advantage and attack the Iranian nuclear facilities. However, Iran may have outsmarted the Israelis when the terrorists in Egypt broke down the Sinai peace. I believe this may have been deliberate on Egypt and Iran's part, and now Egypt has its military in the Sinai whether Israel likes it or not.
The war has already started as the enemies of Israel are positioning themselves for the battle ahead. Israel is preparing for a war whether it is an attack on Iran, or fearing an attack on all sides. The third group is the West, being led by the United States, who will sit by and do nothing but talk at the UN. When the next war happens in the Middle East, it will likely be Gog/Magog. I know some may disagree, and please post below in the comment section. Again, we are all in this together.
Could the Syria situation lead to not only Isaiah 17 fulfilling, but other Scriptures such as Ezekiel 38/39 or possibly others? I think it may, and couple with the European economic collapse; we may have a collapse that civilization cannot survive. The United States' federal government has told five huge banks to prepare for economic collapse throughout the banking industry. There is a lot of chatter among the halls of government and banking institutions that something is brewing which will be cataclysmic. Roubini may be correct in saying that the world is preparing for something that will bring down civilization itself in 2013. The clock may tick earlier. Time will tell.

U.S. regulators directed five of the country's biggest banks, including Bank of America Corp and Goldman Sachs Group Inc, to develop plans for staving off collapse if they faced serious problems, emphasizing that the banks could not count on government help.
The two-year-old program, which has been largely secret until now, is in addition to the "living wills" the banks crafted to help regulators dismantle them if they actually do fail. It shows how hard regulators are working to ensure that banks have plans for worst-case scenarios and can act rationally in times of distress.

The IDF is gearing for the possibility of an armed conflict on several fronts and has decided to boost the munitions and supply reserves in a large number of military bases across Israel, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
The Friday report said that the IDF plans to store tens of thousands of rations and non-classified ordnances in private locations nationwide, as the location of the major bases is known and they may be targeted by enemy rockets.
