MY THOUGHTS
Jesus warned us about great deception in the last days. Paul tells Timothy people will have tickling ears in the last days. The more I watched the Democratic National Convention (DNC), the more I am convinced we are living in the times of the great deception. We are not at the big lie God will allow mankind to believe, but we are precariously close. It isn't the DNC is the source of deception, but a reflection of deception in American society. Our societies in this world are living in very dangerous times. People want to hear their own version of good things and plead ignorance to God's truth.
The truth is the EU has just given Obama a lifeline as Draghi, the European Central Bank's (ECB) leader, is trying to push the money printing into unimaginable amounts. I believe one socialist is helping another socialist. The elites do not have any answers anymore, and they are throwing money at a failing world economy. As much as we think they are in total control, I tend to believe differently. It is not they are not in control, they are; however, I believe they are slowly losing control over their own plans.
As the deception surrounding the economy is speeding through the world, the deception surrounding Israel will be the cornerstone of the world deception in the last days. As Israel faces one crisis after another, the world will blame everything on them, and as Christians support Israel in the midst of adversity, Satan will persecute those Christians by the world authorities. So many pastors are not preaching the Word, and are afraid to teach about what really is happening. The church is truly Laodicea.
I am going to watch in the next several days how the Israel drama will play out. I just read today the US State Department will not recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, which tends to happen in both Republican and Democratic administrations, but the outright hostility toward Israel by Obama will get very bad in a few months if he gets elected. As for Romney, it is hard to figure him out, but I don't put much trust in him either. Time will tell with Romney.
As we approach precarious times in our world, the end times deception is here. Prophecy is in our midst, or in the mist, as we see the world imploding. God's signs are not always in front of us, but often in the mist (using midst and mist as a play on wording in English). It will take the people of the Lord watching His Coming to see His Will through the midst of our world. I hope you are one of those who call Jesus as Lord as I do.

"I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with [a]great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. 5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

And all of this is happening without the Fed having announced QE, which it very well may not as it would then be seen as a largely political organization, or the ECB having bought a single bond under its restarted conditional monetization program, which paradoxically still needs Spain to crumble and demand a bailout before any of its bonds are eligible for purchases. In short: total centrally planned confusion, whose ultimate achievement will be to scare the last remaining non vacuum-tube based traders out of the market.
