War does not happen overnight, but it is a series of events that culminate into the final battle. Even in Revelation it is not the Battle of Armageddon, but more of a series of battles that lead to Armageddon. What we see is the beginning of events that will lead to a series of battles prophesied in the Word, and the first may be Ezekiel 38/39. There are many Scriptures we can point to for a different set of battles whether it is Psalm 83, Daniel 11, the Revelation battles, but we will continue to focus on the battle of Ezekiel 38/39 and Isaiah 17.
The significance of Israel's bombing of a Sudanese factory is more significant that any of us can imagine. The final piece of the puzzle is now in place for Ezekiel's Gog/Magog War to happen. Libya's Benghazi attack showed us Libya can and will be an important player in the Middle East, and now we have the last piece of the puzzle, which is Sudan. Sudan now threatens retaliation, and it knows it cannot do it by itself. It can retaliate with help from Iran, Russia, Libya, and Turkey. However, we all know if it is God's time it will happen in a speedy fashion. I believe we are very close to this very prophetic fulfillment.
As the Ezekiel Axis of Evil is making their plans to try to take out Israel, the West is teetering on economic disaster. I believe the economic situation in the West will keep the West from defending Israel, whether Romney or Obama is President. As the Ezekiel War commences, the economic calamity that will occur will be great, and Israel will be blamed. This will set up for Antichrist and the Mark of the Beast. I truly believe this may very well be the line of events, but I will be the first to admit to be wrong if this is incorrect.
Yes, Sudan was an insignificant piece of the prophetic puzzle a few days ago, but now it is one of the most significant, not because of its size, but its importance to being the last piece before a very important prophetic moment to be soon realized. Our calling is to prepare our hearts for that time is soon at hand. Let's give out the Gospel with love, not judgment, and be the Light of Christ to a darkened world. We are not called to gather riches on this earth, but in the new earth to come where God is glorified and Christ reigns supreme in our presence. Be strong and courageous, Christ has conquered the world.

Sudan has warned that it has the right to retaliate after accusing Israel of carrying out an air strike on an arms factory, causing a huge explosion that killed two people.
Ahmed Belal Osman, the Sudanese information minister, said that bombs from four aircraft struck a complex and triggered a blast that rocked the capital, Khartoum, before dawn on Wednesday.
"Four planes coming from the east bombed the Yarmouk industrial complex," Belal told a press conference. "They used sophisticated technology . We believe that Israel is behind it."
Belal recalled a 2009 attack on an arms convoy in the Red Sea province in eastern Sudan, resulting in scores of deaths, which his government also blamed on Israel.
"We are now certain that this flagrant attack was authorised by the same state of Israel," he added. "The main purpose is to frustrate our military capabilities and stop any development there, and ultimately weaken our national sovereignty.
"Sudan reserves the right to strike back at Israel."
