MY THOUGHTS
Jesus gave us the whole last 7 years on earth in Matthew 24 the last week He was here on this earth before His crucifixion and ressurection. He loved us so much, that He gave us a picture of the end of days. During this Olivet Discourse, which Matthew 24 is often called because He gave it on the Mount of Olives outside the Temple walls, Jesus told us in Matthew 24:15 that the Abomination of Desolation will be so important that the writer, Matthew, added the words, ?those that have ears let them hear'. These are spiritual ears. It is those who understand the end who must see that the Abomination of Desolation is the watershed moment that will help believers know we are in the 70th week. We won't know until the Abomination of Desolation, which happens 1,260 days after the Treaty is signed by an European leader and Israel.
Therefore, if the ENPI, which sets the 7 year element in the ENP, is the treaty for which Daniel and Matthew, among others, were referring too, then June 14, 2010 would be the midpoint. We don't need a peace treaty, for the Bible is not totally clear it will be a peace treaty, just a confirming treaty of some kind, then are we heading for the watershed Scripture of Matthew 24:15? We won't know till next summer. I am not saying this is it, but as I have said in the past I am not saying it is not. Solana is not happy, the EU is not happy, the US president is not happy. One thing that unifies the world is the hatred against God and His people, whether it is the church or Israel. What situation would be different according to Solana? I don't know exactly, but the ENP is supposed to have an important meeting next month talking about the continuing progress in the ENP based on the peace process. It is not going to be broken now, but maybe soon. If it is, will we have the Abomination of Desolation? I wish I knew, but time will tell.

MY THOUGHTS
I believe this is one of my more important commentaries in a while. So important I am going to put it in the list of important commentaries on my website. There are many, including myself, that are looking at the possibility of the 70th week starting January 1st, 2007 by the confirmed agreement by the EU, led by Dr. Javier Solana, and Israel called the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), which has a seven year instrument called the European Neighborhood Policy Instrument (ENPI). Let's say for a moment this is the last seven years on earth, in which we are in year three of the seven years.
First, the world is already feeling the threat from Iran as Russia has promised to sell defense missile capabilities to Iran, which would make an Israeli/American assault on their nuclear facilities much more problematic. This will emboldened Iran and Russia to launch a surprise attack on Israel as the whole world is turning its back on Israel, including the Obama Administration, because of the right leaning government of Benjamin Netanyahu. Many believe this Gog/Magog coalition will attack Israel sometime in the midpoint of the 70th week.
Second, the peace process has turned nasty. The foreign minister of the EU and author of the ENP, Javier Solana, has warned Israel that if the right leaning government takes shape, and the two-state solution is abandoned, there will be hell to pay from the EU and the world community. In order for the ENP to be the treaty of Daniel, everything will have to start falling apart soon in order for Solana to come to Israel to show his displeasure, and break the ENP treaty with Israel. We are little over a year off from the summer of 2010 where the Abomination of Desolation would take place. Could we be seeing the start of the slippery road down that path? How will the Temple be rebuilt by the summer of 2010? Too early to tell, but we may be seeing the start of something very significant.
Third, the two articles I posted are on the economic news that tells us a little about what the future may hold. I received an email from one of our readers talking about Russia pushing a single world currency. I told him, as I tell you, that I don't think that Russia is a main player in all of this. However, the importance of this is the idea is being promoted by a large country. Russia often sees what is being negotiated behind closed doors, and then they come out to try to take credit for something that wasn't their total idea in the first place. The UN is promoting a currency basket. I believe this works by getting the major currencies fixed together in one rate, and not necessarily float like they do now. The three main currencies are the Japanese Yen, the American Dollar, the European Euro, and you can make a case for the Chinese Yuan. Can we see the economic, military, social, and the breakdown of a treaty that will culminate in a little over a year? Does the Time, Times, and ½ a Time seems more real? We shall see.

NOTE: There will be 1,260 days from the time the treaty is signed until the AofD, and then a time period of 1,260 plus 30, and then Christ comes back. If the treaty was confirmed on Jan. 1st, 2007, then the AofD will be June 14, 2010 by my calculations.

A U.N. panel will next week recommend that the world ditch the dollar as its reserve currency in favor of a shared basket of currencies, a member of the panel said on Wednesday, adding to pressure on the dollar.
Currency specialist Avinash Persaud, a member of the panel of experts, told a Reuters Funds Summit in Luxembourg that the proposal was to create something like the old Ecu, or European currency unit, that was a hard-traded, weighted basket.
Persaud, chairman of consultants Intelligence Capital and a former currency chief at JPMorgan, said the recommendation would be one of a number delivered to the United Nations on March 25 by the U.N. Commission of Experts on International Financial Reform.
"It is a good moment to move to a shared reserve currency," he said.

Ultimately, higher US government debt supply with higher US dollar supply in the midst of weakening foreign investor demand will create inflation and higher than normal bond yields.
The higher interest rates will cascade through the US economy to cut off the potential growth rates which may eventually return in 2010.
