HE IS STILL THE MAN
11/9/08
WHAT I KNOW
*The Obama administration will be more harsh on Israel than the Bush administration ever was.
*The world, led by the EU, is itching to start implementing its world order as soon as Barack Obama gets into the White House.
WHAT I DON'T KNOW
*Today's commentary is about Javier Solana and the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), and I still don't know if this program is the one, but we have to look at it in light of meetings that have been held recently in Europe.
MY THOUGHTS
I want to make this as easy as possible, and as I go through the facts you will begin to see that we may have the setup for the major events of the end of days before us. Let us begin with the meeting this past week in France of the Mediterranean Union (MU). The MU is the new name for the Barcelona Process that was started thirteen years ago in Barcelona, Spain by Javier Solana which was then the Spanish foreign minister. The Barcelona Process was strengthened on January 1, 2007 by the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) which is apart of the Barcelona Process and funded by the new European Neighborhood Policy Instrument (ENPI). Now, we can say the ENP is still alive in the revamped Barcelona Process called the Mediterranean Union. There are some who think that the ENPI, the budget that funds the ENP from 2007-2013, may be the 70th week of Daniel.
Lets assume the ENPI created within the Mediterranean Union is the 70th week. This means that we are already in the 70th week of Daniel, and we should suspect more economic turmoil in the months ahead which will lead to the mark of the beast sometime around or after 2010. The year 2010 is the midpoint of the ENPI. There has to be a review process then, and one big part of the ENP is that a peace process needs to be successful in the Middle East. You see, the MU is apart of the ENP and not the other way around, and the ENPI has a timeframe which is 7 years. If this is the prophetic 70th week of Daniel, then the Antichrist is before us not in Barack Obama for he is not apart of the new and improved ENP, but Javier Solana. Dr. Solana is the author of this whole process that has been made more public by Sarkozy and company. This whole Mediterranean Union is not going to be stationed in France, but Spain which is Solana's home country. That is significant folks.
This trend of thought may be wrong, and this pastor is still figuring it out myself. However, I cannot help but see the Scriptural similarities. Barack Obama, to my belief will be one of the many who may do the bidding of the future Antichrist, and will be rewarded as the Scripture says below this commentary. Whether he is rewarded by Dr. Solana or not, we will not know until the appointed time the Antichrist will be revealed at the midpoint of the 70th week according to Matthew 24:15 and 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4. If Dr. Solana is the man, then we just have a little over 1 ½ years to find out. If he is not and this is just another European policy, then all of this speculation will be for nothing. At this time, it is not Barack Obama, but Dr. Solana is still the man. As the Messiah was not what the Jews expected, so will the false messiah be the same for us Christians? With the articles I posted quoting Dr. Solana and his good friend Ms. Ferrero-Waldner we may have evil before our very eyes.

Foreign ministers from the new Mediterranean Union struck a deal Tuesday for Barcelona to host the forum's headquarters and for Israel and the Arab League to take part side-by-side.
The Union's 43 member states held two days of talks in the port of Marseille to end a four-month deadlock on the two contentious issues, which threatened to hamstring the fledgling organisation.

Launched at a Paris summit in July, the new union brings together EU members with states from north Africa, the Balkans, the Arab world and Israel in a bid to foster cooperation in one of the world's most volatile regions.
An Israeli diplomat said it agreed to the Arab League "compromise" on the basis it would be able to play a front-seat role in setting up the fledgling Union, and hopefully build bridges around the Mediterranean.
But she warned "the Barcelona Process can never replace direct bilateral negotiations" to resolve Israel's conflicts with Arab nations.
A spokesman for the Arab League also warned that its participation would not lead to normalisation with Israel, Egyptian state news agency MENA reported.
EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said he was "delighted" by the accord on Barcelona, while EU external relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner called it a "logical choice."
The Mediterranean capital of Spain's Catalonia region, Barcelona lent its name to the 13-year-old Barcelona Process, a previous EU regional initiative that stalled in part over Arab-Israeli disputes.
In exchange for hosting its headquarters, Spain also agreed to drop the tag "Barcelona Process" from the name of the new forum.

The Barcelona Process develops the regional/multilateral dimension of the Partnership between Europe and the Southern Mediterranean. The European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) works to complement and reinforce the Barcelona Process on a bilateral basis, through action plans agreed with the partner countries.
The Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean [62 KB] was launched in Paris on July 13th, 2008. It aims to infuse new vitality into the partnership, offering more balanced governance and increased visibility. See the European Commission's Communication [62 KB] of 20th May, 2008.
The EU works closely with each of its Mediterranean partners to establish support programmes for economic transition and reform which take into account each country's specific needs and characteristics. These actions are funded under the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI).

In parallel, the Multi-annual Indicative Programmes (MIP) were also worked out with each one of these countries (and at the regional level) for a three or four-year period (2007-2010). Each MIP envisages the precise sectoral activities to be financed and the allocated indicative amount.
