UPDATE #2
FOUR MONTH WINDOW
3/3/10
MY THOUGHTS
The Arabs have given their tepid agreement to low-level talks which have little chance of succeeding. The talks will last approximately four months. From March, that puts us at July for the talks to stop. This is a little after the midpoint of the ENP on June 14, 2010. Daniel 12:5-13 states that at the midpoint of the 70th week, the wise in Christ will understand. It is my understanding that it is at the midpoint when we can connect the majority of dots in prophecy. Much of what I report and others is speculation, but when the midpoint happens, there will not be any speculation among the wise, but the world (wicked) will not understand the times, which many in the church fall into.
The four months may be cut short with an Iranian/Israeli conflict. There are strong rumors that Iran is looking at war sometime this spring and summer, which if happens will stop the peace process. Daniel 11 states that war will happen just before the midpoint, so we might have the setup if Iranian surrogates such as Hezbollah, Hamas, or Syria attack Israel. Speculation at this point, but when all things happen it will come to pass just as the Word says it would. If four months is all the world is going to take for the peace process to restart what happens after that? The Quartet meeting March 19th in Moscow may be one of the most important ones in recent memory. Will the EU's Ashton make a statement? Solana will be talking in London on March 18th on the EU and global governance. Sounds like he is still making more of a splash than Ashton, and for the European Neighborhood Policy to be it, Solana has to be the Antichrist, in my opinion. A four month window, that may be all the world has until Hell breaks loose.
Also, Netanyahu stated that there is a ten month window for building in the West Bank, which includes East Jerusalem. Unless something drastic happens (war for example), the Temple will be hard pressed to be rebuilt until September of 2010 at the earliest because that is when the ten month window ends. Again, there are a lot of things out there we have to look at, and I know God will bring everything in His own time. Ten month window, a four month timeline all work within the most important timeline of them all?God's.
On a side note, I will be taking a much needed rest the latter part of this week. I will post a commentary the beginning of next week. Just staying away from the computer for a few days to refresh, and will come back to report on what may be an exciting month in Bible prophecy.
God Bless,
Bro. Brian

Arab states back indirect talks between Palestinians and Israelis in a four-month window, a senior Palestinian official said on Wednesday, after the United States proposed such talks in a bid to revive the peace process.
"Arab foreign ministers decided to give an opportunity to the suggestion of proximity talks for four months," Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told reporters at the Arab League in Cairo.
Israel responded to the Arab League decision on Wednesday, welcoming their endorsement of the U.S.-backed proposal to convene indirect Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu instituted a 10-month halt on new construction in the West Bank in November, but the measure does not include building that was already started or construction in east Jerusalem, the sector of the city Palestinians claim as the capital of a future state.

TRUST NO ONE

MY THOUGHTS
The misleading peace that Israel is currently experiencing is mentioned in the Bible. First Thessalonians 5:4 states that the Israelis will cry peace and safety, and many of them will experience this as Ezekiel 38/39 alludes to before the Russian/Iranian invasion of Israel. We could actually be seeing that prophecy of a false peace coming to pass at this very moment. The Israeli public understands the threats, but many of them live as if the threat is very distant. There will come a time when Iran and its surrogates will attack Israel, and Israel will have nobody on this earth that will defend them.
Ezekiel mentions that only God will protect Israel in the last days. Even then, Revelation talks about the last 3 ½ years where God will send many of the Jews out of their homeland into a protected place, which I think could be the United States. While the US government is anti-Israel the American public tends not to be. We may be entering into a time of false peace in Israel, and when everything falls apart the leaders of this world will look perplexed, and people will be worried, but take heart, your God has everything under control, and amidst the chaos His Glory will shine through. At that time trust no one but those who have professed a genuine belief in Christ for that day will be a day of apostates and falsehood that the world has never seen its history or ever shall be.

The quiet on the security front in recent months is illusory and misleading. While the residents of sovereign Israel enjoy relative tranquillity and even prosperity, across the Green Line the reality of the occupation continues in all its brutality, without getting much attention. Amira Hass described the events of one ordinary day in the territories in yesterday's Haaretz: On February 24, there were no fewer than 212 occupation-related incidents, including four physical assaults on Palestinians, eight military shooting attacks, 39 military raids and the destruction of five wells.

WHAT I KNOW
*The EU's new foreign minister, Catherine Ashton, is not winning over many converts to her style of governing.
*Javier Solana is staying active through think tanks and world organizations. He is also close to the current Spanish government, which holds the six month rotating presidency, which ends at the end of June 2010.
WHAT I DON'T KNOW
*How long will the EU allow a weak foreign minister to lead the EU's foreign policy?
*If the EU does not want Ashton, in what avenue does someone else come upon the scene?
*How serious is the Iran/Israel situation? Only the leaders of this world know for sure, and God of course.
MY THOUGHTS
The world is a very dangerous place. It always has been, and will always be until the Lord comes back, and then it will be 1,000 years before eternity is brought down to earth. Can't wait till that day when eternity is ushered in. It is like waiting for Christmas as a child. Back on topic, it seems that the EU is very dissatisfied with its foreign minister. She is missing important meetings, does not have a clear vision and the EU's clay is showing through in the world stage. The EU wants to get teeth in foreign policy, and she evidently is not it at the moment. There is a view that Solana was a much better person to handle the big job of getting the EU children to cooperate.
It may take a crisis to bring Solana back, if he comes back. The situation actually is setting up quite nicely. The EU's rotating presidency is controlled by Spain, and their power may be felt during a crisis. If this crisis is going to happen in the next few months, it will have to be Iran. Solana is an "expert" on Iran, even though I think he blew it a few times with them, but my thoughts don't count among the worlds' elites. Back to the news?Solana has the capacity to handle Iran, according to the world view, and if Ashton is considered weak, then the Spanish presidency may propel Solana back into the EU foreign ministry, which will propel Spain's six month presidency back into the spotlight. If Solana comes back into play, he may have to come against three of the Western European Union nations to do so, which fulfills Scripture to a tee (see below). We aren't there yet, but the situation is there to be fulfilled. The wait is hard, but be active during your wait. Don't ruin your possible last days on this earth by not telling others about the Salvation found only in Christ. The pieces are hard to put together sometime, but the world is waiting for a savior, who will be the one to turn the earth into hell. I am waiting for a Savior who will turn the world into eternal bliss.

SCRIPTURE
Daniel 7:7-11
"After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a (I)fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had (J)ten horns.
8"While I was contemplating the horns, behold, (K)another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and (L)a mouth uttering great boasts.
The Ancient of Days Reigns
9"I kept looking
Until (M)thrones were set up,
And the Ancient of Days took His seat;
His (N)vesture was like white snow
And the (O)hair of His head like pure wool
His (P)throne was ablaze with flames,
Its (Q)wheels were a burning fire.
10"A river of (R)fire was flowing
And coming out from before Him;
(S)Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, (Rev. 5:11)
And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him;
The (T)court sat,
And (U)the books were opened.
11"Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the (V)burning fire."
NOTE: The bold words are the events that will propel the Antichrist to control the EU during a time of crisis through humbling three nations, which at this time seems to have to be in the Western European Union. The italics are the events that mirror Revelation 4 and 5 where the Ancient of Days (God) will open the books ready for judgment. The events that will propel both the bold and italics are the events at the midpoint of the 70th week and will consume the last 3 ½ years of the 70th week of Daniel.

Defence Agency (EDA) on 9 February in Brussels. She then had to travel to Strasbourg for the inauguration vote of the EU commission.
Unlike her predecessor, Javier Solana, Ms Ashton's post is "double-hatted" - as she is also vice-president of the EU executive, apart from representing member states on foreign and security matters.
Defence officials point to the fact that she also wears a "third hat," which is less known - that of head of the EDA, an inter-governmental body aimed at helping member states to spend jointly and more efficiently on military items, such as helicopters or maritime surveillance.
Ms Ashton's previous experience in international trade and her youthful involvement as a member of a disarmament advocacy group contrast with that of Mr Solana, who was Nato's secretary general before being appointed the first foreign policy chief of the EU.
Mr Solana never skipped any meeting of defence ministers, despite traveling 300,000 kilometers a year, diplomats told AFP.

But even discounting these cheap shots, there are still areas where she looks to be off the pace.
Last week's decision by the Commission to appoint Joćo Vale de Almeida as head of the EU delegation in Washington, DC has left her looking like Barroso's poodle. It has certainly not boosted her credibility with foreign ministers, as Sweden's Carl Bildt and Pierre Lellouche, France's European affairs minister, made clear this week.
Ashton's decision not to attend this week's informal meeting of the EU's defence ministers in La Palma is also gauche. It reinforces the impression that she is ill at ease with the hard-security aspects of EU foreign policy. It highlights a contrast between her and her predecessor, Javier Solana. The former secretary-general of NATO took a strong interest in boosting the EU's military capabilities. Ashton, a former treasurer of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, is unwise to offer her critics such an open goal.
But these were not the first occasions when Ashton was left looking inept.
