SPECIAL REPORT
WHAT TO EXPECT
4/13/09
This is the commentary I promised that lays out what I think might happen in the months ahead. I know I left out a few details, but I have tried my best, to the knowledge of the Word, to lay out what to expect if we are living in the last days.
WHAT I KNOW
*We have been in the last days since the time of Christ.
*Events in the world are signaling that the end of time as we know it may be near.
WHAT I DON'T KNOW
*Is the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) the prophesied 70th week of Daniel?
*Is the Western European Union (WEU) the 10 kings of Daniel?
*Is Dr. Javier Solana of the EU the Antichrist?
*Who are the candidates for the False Prophet?
MY THOUGHTS
LOOKING BACK
It all started in 1948 when Israel was born, which was prophesied in Ezekiel 37. Then, speeding up to 1967, Israel captured Jerusalem in the six day war, which allowed the prophecy of the abomination of desolation to become a reality. In 1991, the Madrid Conference started the current peace process that we have in the Middle East under US President George H.W. Bush. In 1995, Dr. Javier Solana implemented the Barcelona Process as foreign minister of Spain. In 2007, Solana, which moved from foreign minister of Spain in 1995 through different jobs reached the foreign minister of the EU, confirmed the Barcelona Process which was named the European Neighborhood Policy later. The European Neighborhood Policy is not the seven year instrument, just the program, but the instrument is within it and it is called the European Neighborhood Policy Instrument (2007-2013). The ENPI is a budgetary instrument that many are looking at as the possible confirmed covenant of Daniel. When Solana confirmed the Barcelona Process, he renamed it the ENP, and in 2007 the ENPI was put in place. Some say the ENP started as early as 2005 in some form or another, but I tend to stick with the Jan. 1st, 2007 starting point. In the mix is the Mediterranean Union of 2008 which strengthened, not replaced the ENP.
LOOKING FORWARD
So if the ENP is it, then what needs to happen? Some of the things that need to happen have already happened. We have had a rapid social/moral collapse of society since 2007, the deterioration of the church, a rapid deterioration of the world economy, the call for global currencies, the continue existential threat of Iran and her allies. Added is the increased isolation of Israel, and an unprecedented American foreign policy that is taking its cues from Europe, which is led by the foreign minister of the EU, Solana.
The midpoint of the ENP is June 14, 2010, which will be the time the abomination of desolation if this is the time of the end. The one who will perform the abomination of desolation will be Solana if the ENP is the prophesied confirmed treaty. The midpoint of the ENP is the middle of the 70th week of Daniel if this assumption is correct, and that is an if. The Bible states that there will be two witnesses that will prophesy in Jerusalem sometime starting in the middle of the 70th week of Daniel. That means sometime during the late spring, early summer of 2010 we should see two men preaching in Jerusalem which will fulfill Scripture (Revelation 11:1-13) of the two witnesses. This puts the rebuilt Temple of some sort having to be done by June 14, 2010. However, I can see sacrifices and worshiping on the Temple Mount without a totally rebuilt Temple. Whatever the case, if this is it, something will happen that will allow these Scriptures to come to pass. Also, according to Daniel 11:36-45, the world should witness a Middle East conflict that will bring Solana into the Middle East to sure up some sort of stop-gap to the war. This war will include the King of the South (possibly Egypt or Hamas), the King of the North (possibly a Russian/Iranian alliance, or Syria) pushing toward Israel. This war might start sometime next spring/summer. The next few months will be busy in the Middle East if this is the prophesied time of the end. However, I do believe this activity may not start until late spring of 2010. It does not take long in modern times to conduct a decisive war, so you can have a war one week, and the abomination of desolation the next week.
The world should continue down the road toward global governance in the economy. To my understanding, the coming Middle East conflict will drive prices of our basic needs more erratic than they are now, and the world will fast put in place a world governance over the economy possible toward the middle of 2010 as the abomination of desolation approaches and passes. This is the time that the Mark of the Beast would be set up, but not necessarily implemented. It may take more time to implement the Mark of the Beast. Albeit a short time, but we do not know for sure, but it will happen world-wide. This means the American dollar will be replaced in some form or another or merged with other currencies in an International Monetary Fund currency basket. The False Prophet will arise sometime after the abomination of desolation to promote the world governance in the economy. Tony Blair of the EU and Barack Obama of the US are two leading figures. I believe the False Prophet will be a more compelling and charismatic figure than the Antichrist. According to Revelation 13, the Antichrist needs the help of the False Prophet to sell his economic vision for the world.
To wrap it up, I can see that if this is the time, the first seal may already be opened. I also see from Daniel 7:9-10 and Revelation 4:1-11; 6:1-2 that the first seal may not open until the abomination of desolation. The second seal will possibly be the Middle East conflict in Daniel 11:36-42 or a much more major conflict after the abomination of desolation. After a devastating Middle East conflict the world economy will collapse which in turn usher in the False Prophet to sell the Antichrist's world governance under the auspices of the Mark of the Beast. From there the fourth, fifth (possibly the Mark of the Beast persecution), and the sixth seal will open. The Great Tribulation will start June 14, 2010 if this is the possibly time period, and then the Day of the Lord will happen sometime after that. I can see the pre-wrath rapture happening sometime from year 2011 through 2012, and then the Day of the Lord will commence with Christ coming back at the end of 2013.
That is a scenario that I could envision. There are many different opinions out there, but I have tried my best, according to the Word, to set up a possible scenario for the end times events if this is the time of the end. I appreciate any emails for your opinions. I am neither dogmatic about the ENP nor do I dismiss it. Time will tell if this scenario is anywhere close to being right. I will keep this up for a few days, then I will put it with the important commentaries that I keep so we can go back to this from time to time. Pray for me and I will pray for you as we keep our eyes on the Lord, and our hearts pure to the touch of the Spirit. You are encouraged to pass this commentary around as a heads-up for a possible scenario.

SCRIPTURE
I would like to put all of the Scriptures here, but I have chose one in particular. Take this Scripture and measure it up against Revelation 4:1-11, and you may come away with the idea that the seals may start at the midpoint of the 70th week.
Daniel 7:9-10
" 9 As I looked,
"thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels were all ablaze.
10 A river of fire was flowing,
coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
and the books were opened."

In the interview, to be broadcast in the "Belief" programme on BBC Radio 3, Mr Blair reveals that when he was 10 years old his father had a stroke.
Despite the seriousness of that illness, his mother wanted her son's life to carry on as normal, so he continued to go to school, where he ended up praying for his father with the headmaster.
"I said to him 'Before we pray, I should tell you that my father, he doesn't believe in God.
"And I always remember the headmaster saying to me 'Well, that doesn't matter because God believes in him'".
He described the experience as having a "tremendous impact" on him.

Note: Unfortunately the world powers do not understand who God is, so they will not understand His people either, the Jewish and Christian alike.
