MY THOUGHTS

I posted my thoughts a while back on what the future may look like if the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) was it. I think this interview with King Abdullah of Jordan says it all. If there is not a regional solution by the end of summer, early autumn, then the world will face war within a 1 to 1 �. If this is the time, then according to Daniel 11:36-12:13 the world will face a Middle East crisis that will propel Javier Solana and the United States to come into the Middle East to 'protect' their interests. This will lead Solana and company to make a makeshift headquarters in the nation of Israel, and on June 14, 2010 (if my calculations are correct), Solana will make some sort of a statement that will fulfill Matthew 24:15. That is an 'IF' because none of us know if the ENP is really the confirmed treaty. We look at it here because it is the most credible one at the moment. If this scenario does not play out like that, my faith will not be shattered. Don't put all of your faith in this scenario, but please don't discount it either. Jesus said we would not know for sure if the end is totally near until the Antichrist is revealed at the midpoint (2 Thess. 2:1-4).

I will be reporting the important meeting May 18^th between Netanyahu and Obama. We may find out very soon if the relationship between the United States and Israel will turn sour. I suspect the relationship will turn sour soon. In June the Quartet will reveal a new plan, and with or without Israel's blessing, I suspect the plan will call for immediate action on final status issues. Whatever the plans the world makes for pressuring Israel, are you making plans for your eternal destiny. Don't be fooled by the lies of the Devil. God's way is the best way. It may not always seem like it now, but when all is said and done, the Way of God will become much clearer in the end.

I concentrated in my discussions with him on his being the spiritual dimension while I work on the politics of this. The trickle-down effect to the people has always been the challenge. So the message of reconciliation, the message of hope for the future of Jerusalem comes at a perfect time because there has been a flurry of activity over the past six weeks, after the Doha summit and what the Arab nations are doing as part of the Arab peace proposal. [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu's expected visit to Washington next week will be the turning point.

This is where I think the Obama Administration gets it. I am very, very concerned about having a conference in six months' time, and another one in a year's time, that doesn't work. I think we're going to have to do a lot of shuttle diplomacy, get people to a table in the next couple of months to get a solution.

If there is procrastination by Israel on the two-state solution or there is no clear American vision for how this is going to play out in 2009, then all the tremendous credibility that Obama has worldwide and in this region will evaporate overnight if nothing comes out in May. All eyes will be looking to Washington in May. If there are no clear signals and no clear directives to all of us, then there will be a feeling that this is just another American government that is going to let us all down.

We're going to have a war. Leading up to the Lebanese war, I said there was going to be a conflict with Israel. I said it four or five months before. I said it would happen either in Lebanon or Gaza. It was Lebanon. In November, I said there would be another war in Lebanon or Gaza. I thought it would happen when Obama was in office but was surprised by it happening a month earlier. If we delay our peace negotiations, then there's going to be another conflict between Arabs or Muslims and Israel in the next 12 to 18 months ? as sure as the other conflicts happened.

WHAT I KNOW

*I know the Lord said we would not know if we are truly in the 70^th week until the Abomination of Desolation that happens at the midpoint of the last 7 years.

*I know that Israel and the EU are ready to break off diplomatic agreements, which according to Scripture is exactly what will happen with the Abomination of Desolation.

WHAT I DON'T KNOW

*Is this current diplomatic row a part of the prophesied break that will culminate June 14, 2010 when the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) has its review from Javier Solana?

*How will the United States play out in all of this diplomatic pressure against Israel?

MY THOUGHTS

There are important commentaries, and then there are important commentaries. This is one that I may have to put in my archives. The EU is threatening for the first serious time to break off diplomatic relations with Israel over the peace process. The Bible states in the last days a man from the revised Roman Empire will come and confirm a covenant for seven years (2,520 days) and break it exactly in the middle 1,260 days. Could the man be Javier Solana and the plan the ENP? Too early to tell yet, but I believe that this ministry's goal is to inform people of what is out there. We do not support this is it, nor do we disregard, but we just report the news and bring Scripture together with it as necessary.

If a diplomatic break is going to happen within the ENP in the next few months, then we have to set our eyes for the summer of 2010 when it all will fall apart. If this is it, I don't suspect the new Quartet initiative will have much success. The new Quartet initiative may be the catalyst to break the ENP. I can see the international community using the new Quartet initiative as the document to pressure Israel, and the pressure will explode when Israel does not respond according to the international players within a year, which pushes us to the summer of 2010. The United States is now becoming Israel's enemy, fulfilling Zechariah's prophecy that all nations will be against Israel.

At the same time this is happening the organized church is becoming more hostile to the Gospel message fulfilling Christ's message in the Gospels that in the end of days even those who supposed to know the truth will turn true believers into the authorities in the last days. Those days are upon us, my friends. The collapse of the Gospel message being preached and lived is more astonishing than the moral collapse. Christians need to stop blaming the world for their problems, because it is not the world, it is the Christians who let the world creep into their lives that has caused the problems of society.

As we close, Israel is being dragged under the bus and run over many times, and it is going to get worse. I can see the new Quartet initiative buying Israel some time over the next few months, but something has to give. If this is it, then it will all to start to fall apart as Middle East conflicts start arising very soon, and Israel will be to blame. The good news is God knows the truth, and God will not only save Israel in the last days, but He will save all those who come to Him in honest repentance. Until next time.

Meanwhile, the European Union is also discussing the possibility of diplomatic sanctions against Israel. In Luxembourg, for example, Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn has proposed cancelling the Jerusalem government's planned participation in a number of EU meetings.

"Further diplomatic preferential treatment can not happen without conditions," Asselborn said. The new Israeli government, he argued, must "prove through its actions that it will accept a Palestinian state."

In Germany, Foreign Minister Steinmeier has said his country expects "constructive engagement" from the Israeli government and the Palestinians in the peace process. "We urgently need progress on the path to peace and a fair two-state solution," he told the Neue Presse newspaper.

American Jews, meanwhile, are reacting as predicted - with a total absence of spine. As IsraelMatzav reports, AIPAC was sending delegates to visit Congress to 'convince' Representatives and Senators to sign a petition calling for a two-state solution. Inspired! Almost eighty per cent of American Jews voted for Obama despite the clear and present danger he posed to Israel. They did so because their liberal self-image was and is more important to them than the Jewish state whose existence and security cannot be allowed to jeopardize their standing with America's elite.

But the ordinary American people are a different matter. They do value and support Israel. They do understand that if Israel is thrown under that bus, the west is next. And it is they to whom Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu must now appeal, over the heads of the politicians and the media and certainly America's Jews and everyone else. He must tell the American people the terrible truth, that America is now run by a man who is intent on sacrificing Israel for a reckless and amoral political strategy which will put America and the rest of the free world at risk.

This is shaping up to be the biggest crisis in relations between Israel and America since the foundation of Israel six decades ago. Those who hate Israel and the Jews will be gloating. This after all is precisely what they hoped Obama would do. To any decent person looking on aghast, this is where the moral sickness of the west reaches the critical care ward.
